Green Impact is the University of Cambrige's environmental accreditation scheme. It supports and encourages departments and Colleges in reducing their environmental impacts.

For the tenth year in succession, Clare College has won Gold or Platinum. 

In addition, the College also won two special category awards. One was for innovation for engagement, for the Outreach teams’ Tangled Planet Exhibition, a collaborative initiative between the College and the University Museum of Zoology that brought together a diverse group of sixth-form students from underrepresented backgrounds to co-curate an exhibition focusing on climate change and environmental issues. The second special award was for environmental improvement, for the new river beds which use recycled building materials and drought tolerant plants.
