Clare Fellow, Graduate Tutor and Professor of Mathematical Physics, Maciej Dunajski is interviewed on the 550th birthday of Polish polymath Nicolaus Copernicus.

It was in the early 16th century when Copernicus had the idea that the planets move in perfect circles around the sun. This scientific revolution became known as the Heliocentric model of the universe, the legacy of which lives on today. 

Professor Dunajski discusses the impact of this discovery and the challenges facing scientists today.
