Biography
Hadi Fakhoury, originally from Lebanon, obtained his PhD in Philosophy of Religion from McGill University in 2021. His main area of research is the philosophy of religion in the continental tradition.
From 2020 to 2023, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University, where he worked on a project on the French scholar of Islamic mysticism Henry Corbin.
He is currently a postdoctoral fellow of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (2024-2026), with a project on the German idealist and romantic philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph von Schelling. He is affiliated with the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism at the Faculty of Divinity.
