Ole Nielsen received his PhD from MIT in Electrical Engineering in 2006.  Since then, he has been working as a Research Engineer at Bose Corporation, specialising in Active Noise Reduction (ANR), at the intersection of Controls and Acoustics.  Since 2016 he has been an Embedded Researcher at the Department of Engineering, working on collaborative projects between Bose and the Department.  He has been supervising first year Electrical and Information Engineering at Clare since 2018.
