Pietro is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC). His current research focuses on the computational modelling of crystallisation processes of small molecules. His other research interests include X-ray crystallography of small molecules and the study of polymorphism in molecular crystals.

Pietro received a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester. Before that, he studied Chemistry at the University of Milan, his hometown.
