Mathematics applicants: Weekly Problem-Solving Webinars from the STEP Support Programme
The STEP Support Programme team at the University of Cambridge are offering 'Problem Solving for Maths Interviews' webinars weekly on Wednesdays, 6th - 27th November 2024. The webinars are free of charge.
These webinars will give you some strategies for solving unfamiliar problems, and some suggestions for where you can find more problems to practice your skills. They will also cover what to expect from a Cambridge mathematics interview, the different formats they might take, and how you can prepare for them. There will be the opportunity to ask questions, and also the chance to hear current Cambridge mathematics undergraduates talking about their interview experience.
The sessions run weekly for 4 weeks and each one will have a slightly different focus.

Demo Interview Video - Medicine
Please note: interviews at Clare for all subjects, including Medicine, are conducted by two interviewers. Candidates are not interviewed one-on-one. This video was produced in October 2021 with Director of Studies Prof Phil Jones and current student Molly as an example of the types of questions an applicant to Medicine might be asked.
