Clare Fellow wins top prize from the European Economic Association

Clare Fellow, Dr Flavio Toxvaerd has been awarded a top prize by the European Economic Association, winning the 2023 EEA Award for Exceptional Teaching in the Senior Category.

Flavio is an Assoicate Professor in Economics and an Affiliated Researcher at the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. He holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen (BSc Economics, MSc Economics), the London School of Economics (MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics) and the London Business School (PhD Economics). 

On receiving the award Dr Toxvaerd says; "It’s wonderful news and a real honour to receive this recognition for my teaching. When I was a student, one lecturer was so enthusiastic about economics that she inspired me to devote my professional life to research and teaching. It would be wonderful if I could likewise inspire students in my classroom."
