The Role

As Executive Assistant to the Master you will ensure the smooth running of the Master’s Office and the Master’s Lodge; to run events in the Lodge for the community and for the College’s principal guests; to support the Master by providing strong administrative support relating to the Fellowship and in ensuring sensitive and timely communication between the Master, individual Fellows and other members of College and between the Master and other key postholders in the collegiate University.

You will be able to draft reports and deal with correspondence on the Master's behalf.

As Manager of the Master's Lodge, you will have experience of managing budgets and organising and running large-scale formal and informal events and small scale high level hospitality.

You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and Zoom.  You will have the ability to work on own initiative using tact and diplomacy on sensitive matters and maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary will be between £38,000 and £43,000 p.a.   This is a full time role 36.25 hours per week but there is a possibility of working less hours during the long vacation.

Included in the benefits package is lunch, membership of a defined contribution pension scheme, membership of a medical cashback scheme, parking, and non-contractual bonus paid in November of each year subject to eligibility.
